William R. Weir

William R. Weir, 79, of Oregon, WI, formerly of Chicago, passed away March 18, 2022.  Beloved son of the late Bernice M., nee Clement and stepson of the late Robert Lunz Sr.; loving brother of Charles (the late Suzette) Weir, Patricia (James) Heneghan, the late Katherine (the late James) Dawson and the late Robert Lunz; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, especially Linda Leen who took special care of Bill with great devotion; dearest friend of Scott Moodie, who could light up Bill’s face instantly with his weekly visits and with whom he shared much laughter and the love of Harley Davidson, and John Lundberg.

William was a kind, generous and extremely patriotic man and served in the US Army during Vietnam.  He took great delight in fishing and animals of all kinds, including birds, miniature alligators, fish and dogs.  He also loved his trucks and of course, Harley Davidson.
