Victoria Marie Alioto

Victoria M. Alioto, 68, passed away peacefully April 6, 2017.  Beloved partner of the late Judith Caruso; loving l'il sis of Ursula Duffey; cherished auntie of Angela Alioto; treasured great auntie of Karly and Brett and the best great great auntie of Cael; dearest cousin like a sister of Wayne Alioto. Vicki was a fun loving, passionate spirit who brightened the lives of all those she touched and will always be remembered by her many deeply loved friends and extended family.  She loved the sun, water and boating.  She also enjoyed music, especially jazz and live concerts.  Vicki took great pleasure in keeping a full closet and then some of clothing, shoes and jewelry.  She was an animal lover, especially dogs and savored every opportunity to dance.  Traveling was a high priority in Vicki’s life and in addition to many trips to visit her Canadian family and friends, other favorite destinations included Costa Rica and Italy.  A memorial service will be held Monday, April 10th, 7:00 p.m. at Willow Creek Church Chapel, 67 Algonquin Rd., South Barrington with a reception to follow.  Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JourneyCare, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010, www.journeycare.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.
