Pamela H. Herosy

On Monday, August 14, 2023, Pamela Herosy of Worth, IL, cherished partner, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of 53, after a brief illness.

Pam was born to Frank and Chris (Cameron) Herosy in Boston, MA, on August 24, 1969.  She loved music, learning new things, and being surrounded by friends and loved ones.  She grew up in Milford, Massachusetts, and later lived in Hawaii and Texas, before finally settling in Illinois.

She is survived by her partner Gene Nielsen, sister Melissa (Gurp) Ahluwalia, aunts Bonnie (Mickey) MacInnis and Heather Downey, nieces and nephew Julia Silverstein, Kathleen Silverstein, Walker Ahluwalia, and Zoe Ahluwalia, and many cousins.  She is also survived by the many friends who she considered family.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Peter Silverstein.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, at the Palos United Methodist Church, 12101 S. Harlem Ave, Palos Heights, IL, with a time for visiting at 1:30, and a service at 2:00.
