Mark Joseph Viece, 56, of Oak Lawn, formerly of Elk Grove, passed away February 6, 2017. Cherished father of Amanda Viece; loving son of Janet and the late Phillip; dear brother of Karen (Freddie) Colon and Lori Viece; fond uncle of Chris (Tracy), Jessi, Keith and Jerica Colon; adored great uncle of Amber, Jordan, Jaidyn, Lia, Trey and D.J.
Mark was a gem of a man with a big heart of gold and always available to support anyone in need. His big smile and deep broad laugh were contagious and he found great joy in inciting laughter from others. He enjoyed motorcycles and guitars and is surely playing a lively card game in heaven with his dad. His biggest pride and joy in his lifetime was his daughter, Amanda. Mark will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will gather on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 W. Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village, where a memorial visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until time of memorial mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
