 Con el corazón lleno de amor y gratitud, honramos la vida de Margarita Dolores García Avalos, una mujer excepcional cuya luz brillará eternamente en los corazones de quienes la amaron.

 Nació el 4 de marzo de 1939 en Morelia, Michoacán, México y el 25 de febrero de 2025, Dios la llamó a su lado, concediéndole el descanso eterno.

Margarita fue un alma llena de fe inquebrantable, una hija devota de Dios desde su niñez, quien en cada paso de su vida ofreció su trabajo, sus pensamientos y su amor al Señor.

Su frase inolvidable, la que sembró en el corazón de sus hijos y nietos, fue siempre "Ofrécelo a Dios", un recordatorio constante de su entrega espiritual y su gratitud infinita a Dios.

Dedicada y perseverante, Margarita completó su carrera de Contabilidad, demostrando una gran inteligencia y responsabilidad en su vida profesional.

Sin embargo, su mayor orgullo y propósito fueron sus tres hijos, a quienes crió con inmenso amor y dedicación, guiándolos siempre por el camino del bien.

Como madre, fue un pilar inquebrantable, amorosa, sabia y entregada, formando una familia basada en valores sólidos, fe profunda y un amor sin límites.

Margarita tenía un don especial: su voz. El canto era su alma expresada en melodía y su voz iluminaba cualquier lugar donde acudía.

Cantaba con devoción a Dios en la misa matutina y con la misma pasión deleitaba a quienes la escuchaban en restaurantes cuando los mariachis la invitaban a subir al escenario. La música era su alegría y con ella tocó los corazones de todos.

Margarita encontraba felicidad en las cosas simples de la vida: recorrer tiendas, mueblerías, contemplar lo bello que la rodeaba y compartir momentos inolvidables con su familia.

Pero, sobre todo, su amor más profundo estaba reservado para sus nietos, a quienes crio con la misma entrega y ternura con la que guio a sus hijos.

Para ellos fue una segunda madre, una confidente y una guía llena de amor, dejando en cada uno de ellos un legado imborrable.

Hoy, Margarita deja en este mundo un amor infinito que vivirá eternamente en los corazones de sus hijos: José Felipe Gutiérrez García (Aquilina Ortega Altamirano), Víctor Manuel Gutiérrez García (María de Jesús Gutiérrez) y Dolores Celene Gutiérrez García(J. Jesús Soto Espinosa) y en sus nietos amados: Michael Manuel Soto-Gutiérrez, Jesse Soto-Gutiérrez, Sharlyn Nicole Soto-Gutiérrez, Michelle Gutiérrez, Bryan Gutiérrez, Skarlette Gutiérrez Ortega, Víctor Felipe Gutiérrez Ortega y José Emanuel Gutiérrez Ortega.

También deja a su querido hermano Ángel García Ávalos, así como a sobrinas y sobrinos que la amaron profundamente.

Margarita ahora se reúne en el cielo con sus hermanos Gabriel, Mariano y Petra García Ávalos, descansando en la paz de Dios.

Para honrar su hermosa vida, se celebrará una Misa Conmemorativa el 11 de marzo de 2025, a las 10:00 a.m., en el Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Des Plaines, Illinois.

Posteriormente familiares y amigos, acompañarán a Margarita a su descanso final en el Cementerio de Todos los Santos en Des Plaines.

Mamá, abuelita, hermana, tía y amiga… fuiste un faro de amor, fe y alegría.

Te extrañaremos profundamente, pero jamás te olvidaremos.

Vivirás por siempre en nuestros corazones, mentes, alma y en cada hermoso recuerdo que dejaste en nuestras vidas.

Tu espíritu volará eternamente con Dios, acogida de la mano del “Cristo de la Penitencia”, el cual pertenecía a la familia García y que hoy reposa en el templo de Álvaro Obregón, Michoacán, México. Envuelta en el amor infinito que sembraste en cada uno de nosotros.

Gracias por tu luz, por tu amor inmenso y por la huella imborrable que dejaste en nuestras vidas.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we honor the life of Margarita Dolores García Ávalos, an exceptional woman whose light will shine eternally in the hearts of those who loved her.

She was born on March 4, 1939, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, and on February 25, 2025, God called her to His side, granting her eternal rest.

Margarita was a soul filled with unwavering faith, a devoted daughter of God since childhood, who in every step of her life offered her work, her thoughts, and her love to the Lord.

Her unforgettable phrase, the one she instilled in the hearts of her children and grandchildren, was always "Offer it to God," a constant reminder of her spiritual devotion and infinite gratitude to Him.

Dedicated and perseverant, Margarita completed her degree in Accounting, demonstrating great intelligence and responsibility in her professional life.

However, her greatest pride and purpose were her three children, whom she raised with immense love and dedication, always guiding them along the path of righteousness.

As a mother, she was an unshakable pillar—loving, wise, and devoted—building a family rooted in strong values, deep faith, and boundless love.

Margarita had a special gift: her voice. Singing was her soul expressed in melody, and her voice illuminated every place she went.

She sang with devotion to God at morning mass, and with the same passion, she delighted those who listened to her in restaurants when the mariachis invited her to the stage. Music was her joy, and through it, she touched the hearts of many.

Margarita found happiness in the simple things in life: strolling through stores and furniture shops, admiring the beauty around her, and sharing unforgettable moments with her family.

But above all, her deepest love was reserved for her grandchildren, whom she raised with the same devotion and tenderness as she did her children.

To them, she was a second mother, a confidante, and a loving guide, leaving an indelible legacy in each of their hearts.

Today, Margarita leaves behind an infinite love that will live forever in the hearts of her children:

José Felipe Gutiérrez García (Aquilina Ortega Altamirano), Víctor Manuel Gutiérrez García (María de Jesús Gutiérrez), and Dolores Celene Gutiérrez García (J. She is also survived by her dear brother, Ángel García Ávalos, as well as nieces and nephews who deeply loved her.

Margarita is now reunited in heaven with her siblings Gabriel, Mariano, and Petra García Ávalos, resting in the peace of God.

To honor her beautiful life, a Memorial Mass will be held on March 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines, Illinois.

Afterward, family and friends will accompany Margarita to her final resting place at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend… you were a beacon of love, faith, and joy.

We will miss you deeply, but we will never forget you.

You will live forever in our hearts, minds, souls, and in every beautiful memory you left in our lives.

Your spirit will soar eternally with God, embraced by the hand of the ‘Christ of Penitence,’ which belonged to the García family and now rests in the Temple of Álvaro Obregón, Michoacán, Mexico—wrapped in the infinite love you planted in each of us.

Thank you for your light, for your immense love, and for the indelible mark you left in our lives.
