Julie Erdmann, nee Borg, age 61, passed away on July 31, 2024, at her home in Tinley Park surrounded by the love of her family.

Julie led a fulfilling career as a Register Nurse that spanned over three decades. She touched the lives of many in various healthcare settings including hospitals, homes, schools and doctor's offices leaving an indelible mark with her caring and kind demeanor. Remarkably, Julie's journey into nursing began in a momentous manner as she graduated from nursing school while in labor with her first child.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Julie was known for her enchanting love for all things Disney. She delighted in dancing with abandon and singing off-key, spreading joy wherever she went. Julie also had a creative flair and loved to craft. She was an expert with her cricut machine and ensured her family and friends were adorned in the finest custom shirts.

A woman of boundless love and pride, Julie adored her family above all else. Her kind spirit and unwavering devotion were evident in her role as a nurturing mother and Juju (grandma), her greatest source of pride being her four children and nine beloved grandchildren.

A proud mother to her veteran Army and Navy sons, Julie's patriotic spirit shone bright in every aspect of her life. On June 6, 1987, she joined hands in marriage with Peter Erdmann in a ceremony held in Las Vegas, marking the beginning of a 37-year journey filled with love, partnership and mutual respect.

Julie is survived by her husband, Peter; children, Nicholas (Chantelle) Erdmann, Kelly (Kyle) Wyma, Ashley Erdmann (Matthew Dove) and Zachary (Caitlin) Erdmann; her grandchildren, Isabel, Mackenna, Madisyn, Jack, Christopher "CJ", Abel, Kaden, Jakob and Sophie; her father, John Borg; sister, Karin (Jesse) Dunn; brother, William Borg; sister-in-laws, Pamela (Patrick) Schuler, Paige (John) Erdmann; brother-in-law, Paul (Dawn) Erdmann and loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Borg and her parents in law, Ronald and Sharon Erdmann.

A Celebration of Julie's life will be held at the Harald Viking Lodge, 6730 W. 175th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477 on August 10th from 2-6PM providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together to remember Julie and the laughter she shared, the love she gave freely and the kindness she embodied.

As the sun sets on Julie's earthly journey, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
