Joan E. Menton, nee Jacobazzi, born April 3, 1936, and passed away August 24, 2022.  Loving wife of the late George Menton Sr.; mom of Jeff (Sue) and Desireé Patera and stepmom of Sam (Sue), John (Julie) and George Jr. Menton; grandmother of four; step grandmother of five; great grandmother of three; sister of the late Carol White (Jacobazzi) and Joe (Linda) Jacobazzi; aunt of Karyn Huffnus, Nicolette Ozirsky and Gina Wicks. Joan will be greatly missed by many friends and especially her precious dog, Poppy.

Visitation Wednesday, August 31st, 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Salerno Galewood Chapel, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan’s memory to PAWS Chicago , 1997 N. Clybourn Ave., Chicago, IL 60614 or Best Friends- Chicago Pet Rescue , P.O. Box 31946, Chicago, IL 60631.
