Jill B. (Brunnemeyer) Cahill

Jill B. Cahill, nee Brunnemeyer, 91, of Richton Park formerly of Park Forest, passed away May 21, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Paul; loving mother of Melissa Costello and Carrie Cahill; cherished grandmother of Amanda, Ebonee and Nydra and great grandmother of Amara and Emoree; dearest sister of the late Jack (the late Char) Brunnemeyer and the late Marjorie Castle; caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Jill was an extremely creative and talented artist having painted a whole mural in their family home among many other projects.  She enjoyed cooking and her lasagna was especially delicious.  Jill had a great love of nature and was a lover of all animals.  She loved to feed the birds, squirrels and other wildlife and had many pet dogs over the years.   Jill had wonderful gardening skills and enjoyed growing both vegetables and beautiful flowers in her garden.  It was also a known fact that eating pie ranked quite high on her activities list.  As a woman of deep integrity, Jill possessed a quiet grace with an enormous heart.  These characteristics were just a fraction of why all those who came into contact with her, immediately loved and adored her.  Having lost her husband at a young age, she did an incredible job raising her daughters, making numerous sacrifices throughout their lives in order to provide them with a great life and opportunities to succeed.  Jill treasured her daughters and family whom she loved unconditionally.   She will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
