James Matthew O'Meara

James Matthew "Jim Redhead" O'Meara, 60, of Worth, passed away July 18, 2019.  Beloved husband of Anastasia "Stacey", nee Ceropski; loving father of the late James Matthew O'Meara, Jr.; devoted son of the late Kenneth and Rosemary, nee Guinan; cherished brother of Kathy (the late Richard) Rachuj and Daniel O'Meara; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear nephew and cousin of many.

Jim was an all around lover of life.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and tinkering with cars.  A hard worker his entire life, he most recently worked as a home inspector.  Jim's greatest joy was hanging out with family and friends.  He was a dedicated and faithful husband and family man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 1st for military honors and a time for sharing at 12:30 p.m.  Please arrive promptly at noon as the cemetery scheduling is full, disciplined and leaves absolutely no room for delays.
