Frederick William Klinger Sr.

Frederick William Klinger Sr., 88, lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away October 15, 2017.  Father of Frederick William Jr. (Carla), Caryl (Dave) Simandl, Linda (Jon) Jaroszewski, Debbie (Jeff) Schneider and the late Don Sr. (Tashy); grandfather of Don Jr. (Alicia) Klinger, Stephen (Lisa) Klinger, Shannon (Lupe) Rojas, Christopher Klinger, Pete Rombakis, Ryan Klinger, Tracey (Dan) Korenchan, Courtney Schneider, Bill Jaroszewski, Marcus Schneider, Carlene (John) Yanez, Art (Stephanie) Lehman, Krista Simandl and Katie Simandl; great grandfather of many; son of the late George and Lucille Klinger; brother of the late George (Rita) and Richard Klinger;  uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Retired from Chicago Tribune as a staff photographer.  Visitation Wednesday, Oct. 18th 3:30 to 8:30 p.m at Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 S. Harlem Ave., Worth.  Will lie in state Thursday, Oct. 19th, 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 83rd and Kostner, Chicago.
